(Mercedes-Benz NTG5.1 Head Unit) CLS 2015

This is a carplay smart box suitable for NTG 5.1 head unit.

It is currently compatible with the following models:

Mercedes-Benz(NTG5.0) A/ B/ C/ E/ S/ GLE/ GLC/ GLA/ ML | 2014-2018 Wireless Apple CarPlay Upgrade Solution - (CSBME-1) 

And for other Mercedes Benz NTG 5.1 head unit models, please contact us. 

 

1. Disassemble dashboard carefully.

2. Disassemble and remove out NTG5.1 head unit.

3. Unplug LVDS cable and 48PIN Quadlock harness.

4. Convert with Quadlock harness from SmartBox kit.

5. Then connect to SmartBox box power cable.

6. Original LVDS cable connect to LCD_OUT.

7. LCD_IN connect to LVDS port behind head unit.

8. Set up dip switch according installation diagram.

9. Connect AUX cable from AUDIO-OUT to USB-AUX adapter.

10. Then connect to original USB port from armrest box.

11. Connect MIC, antenna, USB cable well for test before assemble back.

12. External microphone installation.

13. AUX cable layout introduction.

14. Disassemble glove box for SmartBox device location.

15. Assemble back all head unit and all dashboard, all job done.
