This is a CarPlay Smart Box suitable for B8 without MMI platform.
It is currently compatible with the following models:

The detailed steps are as following:
1.Disassemble air conditioning panel.
2.Disassemble and remove out head unit.
3.Disassemble the screen.
4.Pull out LVDS cable behind the display and convert with CarPlay kit LVDS cable.
5.Assemble and connect touch screen.
6.Disassemble glove box carefully.
7.Pull out gateway cable and convert with CarPlay kit's.
8.Replace AUX cable from 48pin harness cable.
9.Then all back to original.
10.Installing well with microphone.
11.Connect all cables with CarPlay box.Touch screen cable LVDS OUT, Aux cable, Microphone.
12.Connection for rear view camera.
13.Locate CarPlay box at good position and fixed , then all jobs done.
14.Turn on Wifi from iPhone, pairing bluetooth with CarPlay system and the phone, then entering CarPlay system automatically.
15.Enjoying Apple CarPlay with Siri, calls,music,maps.
16.Rear view camera with tracking on.
17.Long press ‘’Mode’’ button switch between original and CarPlay system, all based on steering wheel control and touch screen.
