This is a CarPlay Smart Box suitable for MMI platform.
It is currently compatible with the following models:

✅ A6 (2012-2017, Platform: C7 MIB2/ MMI/ RMC) - (CSBAU-4)
✅ A7 (2012-2017, Platform: C7 MIB2/ MMI/ RMC) - (CSBAU-4)
✅ A8 (2012-2017, Platform: C7 MIB2/ MMI/ RMC) - (CSBAU-4)
✅ Audi CarPlay Smart Box 4 (CSBAU-4)
And for other Audi MMI head unit models, please contact us.
The detailed steps are as following:
1.Remove out air conditioning panel carefully.
2.Unscrew and take out MMI head unit.
3.Take out 48pin harness and LVDS cable.
4.Unplug AUX adapter from 48pin harness(Green one).
5.Then convert with Smart Box AUX adapter.
6.Convert Smart Box power cable with air conditioning adapter.
7.LCD_OUT connect to original LVDS cable.
8.LCD_IN connect to LVDS port behind head unit.
9.Assemble back 48pin harness.
10.And assemble back air conditioning adapter.
11.Connect MMI cable(Green one) to No.10 from 48pin harness.
12.Audi A6 MIB2 MMI cable or Audi RMC MMI cable.
13.Then wrapped well.
14.Disassemble glove box for Smart Box box location.
15.Through well all cable to copilot.
16.Assemble back all panels.
17.Connect all cables with Smart Box box.
18.The AUX adapter connect with AUDIO-OUT.
19.Setup dip switch according installation diagram.
20.Microphone installation.
21.Locate well Smart Box box.
22.Assemble back glove box, all job done.
